The advantages of this new mould

  • Production of thin concrete products with a high quality
  • Massive mould that resists vibration for long periods of time and delivers very stable quality
  • Long service life
  • Allows you to vary the thickness of the products you fabricate
  • Wearing Parts of the mould can be replaced
  • Horizontal way of producing the slips: postprocessing of surface possible
  • Can be used on almost any standard production machine
  • With only the cost of the mould you can create new busines opportunities and markets

How the mould works

How the mould works with a movable top plate

A) The mould is fitted with a movable slide on its upper side
A) The thickness / height of the slide is specified by the height of the block
A) The mould is being filled with concrete material

B) The slide, after filling, is hydraulically moved across the mould insert
B) The pre-dosed material drops into the mould nest
B) The actual mould insert has a height of approx. 100 mm

C) The tamper compresses the pre-dosed quantity in the mould insert
C) From there, the standard demoulding process starts: the complete mould goes up, stamp goes up, board with products moves further on and will be replaced by a new board ...

Why concrete facade slips?

The demand for concrete facade slips (also known as concrete cladding slips or tiles) is increasing rapidly. They offer advantages for both new constructions and renovations as well as residential and commercial buildings:

Growing Focus on Energy Efficiency & Sustainability

  • Architects and developers on the look-out: they are seeking sustainable cladding solutions. Concrete slips in combination with insulation materials align perfectly with this trend.
  • Carbon Footprint Reduction:
    • No need for sawing bricks in order to create slips.
    • Lightweight slips reduce transport emissions, an increasingly important factor for clients.

Aesthetic and Design Trends

  • Modern Minimalist Designs: Architects favor sleek, customizable materials like concrete slips.
  • Available in diverse textures, colors, and patterns, mimicking stone, brick, or smooth concrete.
  • Modern Look: Offers sleek, contemporary designs suitable for modern architecture.
  • Customizable: Products can be tailored to specific design requirements.
  • Versatility: Diverse ways of orientation to glue them on the isolation boards.
